Selling my beloved Modal Electronics 002, 12 voice polyphonic hybrid synthesizer, expanded with the digital i/o & fx board.
The synth is a few months old, in perfect working order and estetically, mint condition.
The 002 has a perfect combination of very flexible digital oscilators with 55 waveforms - combined with a morphable tremendous filter that goes from a 24db transistor ladder lowpass, thru bandpass and to a 6db lowpass that has more grit and aggression. There's also a warm and fat overdrive that adds "magic dust" even if used in small amounts. For modulation it has 2 envelopes, 2 lfo's, a step sequencer with 15 rows of 32 steps, freelly assignable to any parameters, with slew rate for smoothing the transition between steps, and the ability to have different lengths for different steps. It also has the Animator, which is a dedicated per note step sequencer specifically for sequencing parameters (similar to the Yamaha Montage motion control sequencer), and arpeggiator. These all turn the 002 into a very deep synth - but more importantly, it has a a lixurious basic tone/sound.
